Psalm 130

YLT 1 A Song of the Ascents. From depths I have called Thee, Jehovah. NIV 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD; YLT 2 Lord, hearken to my voice, Thine ears are attentive to the voice of my supplications. NIV 2 O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. YLT 3 If iniquities Thou dost observe, O Lord, who doth stand? NIV 3 If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? YLT 4 But with Thee [is] forgiveness, that Thou mayest be feared. NIV 4 But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared. YLT 5 I hoped [for] Jehovah -- hoped hath my soul, And for His word I have waited. NIV 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. YLT 6 My soul [is] for the Lord, More than those watching for morning, Watching for morning! NIV 6 My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. YLT 7 Israel doth wait on Jehovah, For with Jehovah [is] kindness, And abundant with Him [is] redemption. NIV 7 O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. YLT 8 And He doth redeem Israel from all his iniquities! NIV 8 He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
