Psalm 24

YLT 1 A Psalm of David. To Jehovah [is] the earth and its fulness, The world and the inhabitants in it. NIV 1 The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; YLT 2 For He on the seas hath founded it, And on the floods He doth establish it. NIV 2 for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. YLT 3 Who goeth up into the hill of Jehovah? And who riseth up in His holy place? NIV 3 Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? YLT 4 The clean of hands, and pure of heart, Who hath not lifted up to vanity his soul, Nor hath sworn to deceit. NIV 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. YLT 5 He beareth away a blessing from Jehovah, Righteousness from the God of his salvation. NIV 5 He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior. YLT 6 This [is] a generation of those seeking Him. Seeking Thy face, O Jacob! Selah. NIV 6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob. "Selah" YLT 7 Lift up, O gates, your heads, And be lifted up, O doors age-during, And come in doth the king of glory! NIV 7 Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. YLT 8 Who [is] this -- `the king of glory?' Jehovah -- strong and mighty, Jehovah, the mighty in battle. NIV 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. YLT 9 Lift up, O gates, your heads, And be lifted up, O doors age-during, And come in doth the king of glory! NIV 9 Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. YLT 10 Who [is] He -- this `king of glory?' Jehovah of hosts -- He [is] the king of glory! Selah. NIV 10 Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty-- he is the King of glory. "Selah"
