Psalm 25

CSB 1 Lord, I turn my hope to You. NIV 1 To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul; CSB 2 My God, I trust in You. Do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me. NIV 2 in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. CSB 3 Not one person who waits for You will be disgraced; those who act treacherously without cause will be disgraced. NIV 3 No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. CSB 4 Make Your ways known to me, Lord; teach me Your paths. NIV 4 Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; CSB 5 Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for You all day long. NIV 5 guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. CSB 6 Remember, Lord, Your compassion and Your faithful love, for they [have existed] from antiquity. NIV 6 Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. CSB 7 Do not remember the sins of my youth or my acts of rebellion; in keeping with Your faithful love, remember me because of Your goodness, Lord. NIV 7 Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD. CSB 8 The Lord is good and upright; therefore He shows sinners the way. NIV 8 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. CSB 9 He leads the humble in what is right and teaches them His way. NIV 9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. CSB 10 All the Lord's ways [show] faithful love and truth to those who keep His covenant and decrees. NIV 10 All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant. CSB 11 Because of Your name, Lord, forgive my sin, for it is great. NIV 11 For the sake of your name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great. CSB 12 Who is the person who fears the Lord? He will show him the way he should choose. NIV 12 Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him. CSB 13 He will live a good life, and his descendants will inherit the land. NIV 13 He will spend his days in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. CSB 14 The secret counsel of the Lord is for those who fear Him, and He reveals His covenant to them. NIV 14 The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. CSB 15 My eyes are always on the Lord, for He will pull my feet out of the net. NIV 15 My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare. CSB 16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am alone and afflicted. NIV 16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. CSB 17 The distresses of my heart increase; bring me out of my sufferings. NIV 17 The troubles of my heart have multiplied; free me from my anguish. CSB 18 Consider my affliction and trouble, and take away all my sins. NIV 18 Look upon my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins. CSB 19 Consider my enemies; they are numerous, and they hate me violently. NIV 19 See how my enemies have increased and how fiercely they hate me! CSB 20 Guard me and deliver me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in You. NIV 20 Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. CSB 21 May integrity and uprightness keep me, for I wait for You. NIV 21 May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you. CSB 22 God, redeem Israel, from all its distresses. NIV 22 Redeem Israel, O God, from all their troubles!
