Psalm 25

NAS 1 To You, O LORD , I lift up my soul. NIV 1 To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul; NAS 2 O my God, in You I trust, Do not let me be ashamed; Do not let my enemies exult over me. NIV 2 in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. NAS 3 Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed; Those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed. NIV 3 No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. NAS 4 Make me know Your ways, O LORD ; Teach me Your paths. NIV 4 Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; NAS 5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day. NIV 5 guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. NAS 6 Remember, O LORD , Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses, For they have been from of old. NIV 6 Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. NAS 7 Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; According to Your lovingkindness remember me, For Your goodness' sake, O LORD . NIV 7 Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD. NAS 8 Good and upright is the LORD ; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. NIV 8 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. NAS 9 He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way. NIV 9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. NAS 10 All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. NIV 10 All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant. NAS 11 For Your name's sake, O LORD , Pardon my iniquity, for it is great. NIV 11 For the sake of your name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great. NAS 12 Who is the man who fears the LORD ? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. NIV 12 Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him. NAS 13 His soul will abide in prosperity, And his descendants will inherit the land. NIV 13 He will spend his days in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. NAS 14 The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant. NIV 14 The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. NAS 15 My eyes are continually toward the LORD , For He will pluck my feet out of the net. NIV 15 My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare. NAS 16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, For I am lonely and afflicted. NIV 16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. NAS 17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses. NIV 17 The troubles of my heart have multiplied; free me from my anguish. NAS 18 Look upon my affliction and my trouble, And forgive all my sins. NIV 18 Look upon my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins. NAS 19 Look upon my enemies, for they are many, And they hate me with violent hatred. NIV 19 See how my enemies have increased and how fiercely they hate me! NAS 20 Guard my soul and deliver me; Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You. NIV 20 Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. NAS 21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You. NIV 21 May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you. NAS 22 Redeem Israel, O God, Out of all his troubles. NIV 22 Redeem Israel, O God, from all their troubles!
