WEB 1 <<By David.>> To you, Yahweh, do I lift up my soul. NIV 1 To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul; WEB 2 My God, in you have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame. Don't let my enemies triumph over me. NIV 2 in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. WEB 3 Yes, no one who waits for you shall be put to shame. They shall be put to shame who deal treacherously without cause. NIV 3 No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. WEB 4 Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths. NIV 4 Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; WEB 5 Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my salvation, I wait for you all day long. NIV 5 guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. WEB 6 Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your lovingkindness, For they are from old times. NIV 6 Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. WEB 7 Don't remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your lovingkindness, For your goodness' sake, Yahweh. NIV 7 Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD. WEB 8 Good and upright is Yahweh, Therefore he will instruct sinners in the way. NIV 8 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. WEB 9 He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way. NIV 9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. WEB 10 All the paths of Yahweh are lovingkindness and truth To such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. NIV 10 All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant. WEB 11 For your name's sake, Yahweh, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great. NIV 11 For the sake of your name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great. WEB 12 What man is he who fears Yahweh? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose. NIV 12 Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him. WEB 13 His soul shall dwell at ease. His seed shall inherit the land. NIV 13 He will spend his days in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. WEB 14 The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant. NIV 14 The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. WEB 15 My eyes are ever on Yahweh, For he will pluck my feet out of the net. NIV 15 My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare. WEB 16 Turn to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted. NIV 16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. WEB 17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring me out of my distresses. NIV 17 The troubles of my heart have multiplied; free me from my anguish. WEB 18 Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my sins. NIV 18 Look upon my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins. WEB 19 Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred. NIV 19 See how my enemies have increased and how fiercely they hate me! WEB 20 Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. NIV 20 Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. WEB 21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for you. NIV 21 May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you. WEB 22 Redeem Israel, God, Out all of his troubles. NIV 22 Redeem Israel, O God, from all their troubles!
