Psalm 28:1-6

WEB 1 <<By David.>> To you, Yahweh, I call. My rock, don't be deaf to me; Lest, if you are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit. NIV 1 To you I call, O LORD my Rock; do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who have gone down to the pit. WEB 2 Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, When I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place. NIV 2 Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place. WEB 3 Don't draw me away with the wicked, With the workers of iniquity who speak peace with their neighbors, But mischief is in their hearts. NIV 3 Do not drag me away with the wicked, with those who do evil, who speak cordially with their neighbors but harbor malice in their hearts. WEB 4 Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings. Give them according to the operation of their hands. Bring back on them what they deserve. NIV 4 Repay them for their deeds and for their evil work; repay them for what their hands have done and bring back upon them what they deserve. WEB 5 Because they don't regard the works of Yahweh, Nor the operation of his hands, He will break them down and not build them up. NIV 5 Since they show no regard for the works of the LORD and what his hands have done, he will tear them down and never build them up again. WEB 6 Blessed be Yahweh, Because he has heard the voice of my petitions. NIV 6 Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard my cry for mercy.
