Psalm 32:3-5

NLT 3 When I refused to confess my sin, I was weak and miserable, and I groaned all day long. NIV 3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. NLT 4 Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. Interlude NIV 4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. "Selah" NLT 5 Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, "I will confess my rebellion to the LORD." And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Interlude NIV 5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD"-- and you forgave the guilt of my sin. "Selah"
