Psalm 51

NKJV 1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. NIV 1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. NKJV 2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. NIV 2 Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. NKJV 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. NKJV 19 Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, With burnt offering and whole burnt offering; Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar. NIV 19 Then there will be righteous sacrifices, whole burnt offerings to delight you; then bulls will be offered on your altar.
