ASV 1 His foundation is in the holy mountains. NIV 1 He has set his foundation on the holy mountain; ASV 2 Jehovah loveth the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob. NIV 2 the LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. ASV 3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. [Selah NIV 3 Glorious things are said of you, O city of God: "Selah" ASV 4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among them that know me: Behold, Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: This one was born there. NIV 4 "I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me-- Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush-- and will say, 'This one was born in Zion.' " ASV 5 Yea, of Zion it shall be said, This one and that one was born in her; And the Most High himself will establish her. NIV 5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her." ASV 6 Jehovah will count, when he writeth up the peoples, This one was born there. [Selah NIV 6 The LORD will write in the register of the peoples: "This one was born in Zion." "Selah" ASV 7 They that sing as well as they that dance [shall say], All my fountains are in thee. NIV 7 As they make music they will sing, "All my fountains are in you."
