Psalm 87

TMB 1 <<A Psalm or song for the sons of Korah.>> His foundation is in the holy mountains. NIV 1 He has set his foundation on the holy mountain; TMB 2 The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. NIV 2 the LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. TMB 3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God! Selah NIV 3 Glorious things are said of you, O city of God: "Selah" TMB 4 "I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know Me; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Ethiopia: `This man was born there.'" NIV 4 "I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me-- Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush-- and will say, 'This one was born in Zion.' " TMB 5 And of Zion it shall be said, "This and that man were born in her; and the Highest Himself shall establish her." NIV 5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her." TMB 6 The LORD shall count, when He writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah NIV 6 The LORD will write in the register of the peoples: "This one was born in Zion." "Selah" TMB 7 Singers as well as players on instruments shall be there and say, "All my springs are in thee." NIV 7 As they make music they will sing, "All my fountains are in you."
