NIV 3 My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you. RHE 4 (9-5) For thou hast maintained my judgment and my cause: thou hast sat on the throne, who judgest justice. NIV 4 For you have upheld my right and my cause; you have sat on your throne, judging righteously. RHE 5 (9-6) Thou hast rebuked the Gentiles, and the wicked one hath perished; thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever. NIV 5 You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked; you have blotted out their name for ever and ever. RHE 6 (9-7) The swords of the enemy have failed unto the end: and their cities thou hast destroyed. Their memory hath perished with a noise: NIV 6 Endless ruin has overtaken the enemy, you have uprooted their cities; even the memory of them has perished. RHE 7 (9-8) But the Lord remaineth for ever. He hath prepared his throne in judgment: NIV 7 The LORD reigns forever; he has established his throne for judgment. RHE 11 (9-12) Sing ye to the Lord, who dwelleth in Sion: declare his ways among the Gentiles: NIV 11 Sing praises to the LORD, enthroned in Zion; proclaim among the nations what he has done. RHE 12 (9-13) For requiring their blood, he hath remembered them: he hath not forgotten the cry of the poor. NIV 12 For he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted. RHE 13 (9-14) Have mercy on me, O Lord: see my humiliation which I suffer from my enemies. NIV 13 O LORD, see how my enemies persecute me! Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death, RHE 14 (9-15) Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death, that I may declare all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Sion. NIV 14 that I may declare your praises in the gates of the Daughter of Zion and there rejoice in your salvation. RHE 15 (9-16) I will rejoice in thy salvation: the Gentiles have stuck fast in the destruction which they prepared. Their foot hath been taken in the very snare which they hid. RHE 16 (9-17) The Lord shall be known when he executeth judgments: the sinner hath been caught in the works of his own hands.
