NIV 2 for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants." The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever." LEB 4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who is seated on the throne, saying, "Amen! Hallelujah!" LEB 5 And a voice came out from the throne, saying, "Praise our God all his slaves, and those who fear him, the small and the great!" NIV 5 Then a voice came from the throne, saying: "Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both small and great!" LEB 6 And I heard [something] like the sound of a great crowd and [something] like the sound of many waters and [something] like the sound of powerful thunder, saying, "Hallelujah! NIV 6 Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: "Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. LEB 7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him the glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come, and his bride has prepared herself. NIV 7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. LEB 8 And it has been granted to her that she be dressed in bright, clean fine linen (for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints). NIV 8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." LEB 9 And he said to me, "Write: Blessed [are] those who are invited to the banquet of the wedding celebration of the Lamb!" And he said to me, "These are the true words of God." NIV 9 Then the angel said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!' " And he added, "These are the true words of God." LEB 10 And I fell down before his feet to worship him, and he said to me, "{Do not do that!} I am a fellow slave of you and of your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." NIV 10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." NIV 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. LEB 13 And [he was] dressed in an outer garment dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God. NIV 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
