Revelation 19:11-21

NLT 11 Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. And the one sitting on the horse was named Faithful and True. For he judges fairly and then goes to war. NIV 11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. NLT 12 His eyes were bright like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him, and only he knew what it meant. NIV 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. NLT 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. NIV 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. NLT 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in pure white linen, followed him on white horses. NIV 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. NLT 15 From his mouth came a sharp sword, and with it he struck down the nations. He ruled them with an iron rod, and he trod the winepress of the fierce wrath of almighty God. NIV 15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. NLT 16 On his robe and thigh was written this title: King of kings and Lord of lords. NIV 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. NLT 17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, shouting to the vultures flying high in the sky: "Come! Gather together for the great banquet God has prepared. NIV 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, "Come, gather together for the great supper of God, NLT 18 Come and eat the flesh of kings, captains, and strong warriors; of horses and their riders; and of all humanity, both free and slave, small and great." NIV 18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great." NLT 19 Then I saw the beast gathering the kings of the earth and their armies in order to fight against the one sitting on the horse and his army. NIV 19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. NLT 20 And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the beast -- miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue. Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. NIV 20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. NLT 21 Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came out of the mouth of the one riding the white horse. And all the vultures of the sky gorged themselves on the dead bodies. NIV 21 The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
