7 Und man berichtete es Jotham. Da ging er hin und stellte sich auf den Gipfel des Berges Gerisim, und er erhob seine Stimme und rief und sprach zu ihnen: Höret auf mich, Bürger von Sichem, so wird Gott auf euch hören!

When Jotham was told about this, he climbed up on the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted to them, “Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, so that God may listen to you.
