Romans 15:22-29

NRS 22 This is the reason that I have so often been hindered from coming to you. NIV 22 This is why I have often been hindered from coming to you. NRS 23 But now, with no further place for me in these regions, I desire, as I have for many years, to come to you NIV 23 But now that there is no more place for me to work in these regions, and since I have been longing for many years to see you, NRS 24 when I go to Spain. For I do hope to see you on my journey and to be sent on by you, once I have enjoyed your company for a little while. NIV 24 I plan to do so when I go to Spain. I hope to visit you while passing through and to have you assist me on my journey there, after I have enjoyed your company for a while. NRS 25 At present, however, I am going to Jerusalem in a ministry to the saints; NIV 25 Now, however, I am on my way to Jerusalem in the service of the saints there. NRS 26 for Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to share their resources with the poor among the saints at Jerusalem. NIV 26 For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. NRS 27 They were pleased to do this, and indeed they owe it to them; for if the Gentiles have come to share in their spiritual blessings, they ought also to be of service to them in material things. NIV 27 They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews' spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings. NRS 28 So, when I have completed this, and have delivered to them what has been collected, I will set out by way of you to Spain; NIV 28 So after I have completed this task and have made sure that they have received this fruit, I will go to Spain and visit you on the way. NRS 29 and I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ. NIV 29 I know that when I come to you, I will come in the full measure of the blessing of Christ.
