Romans 1:13-15

MSG 13 Please don't misinterpret my failure to visit you, friends. You have no idea how many times I've made plans for Rome. I've been determined to get some personal enjoyment out of God's work among you, as I have in so many other non-Jewish towns and communities. But something has always come up and prevented it. NIV 13 I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I planned many times to come to you (but have been prevented from doing so until now) in order that I might have a harvest among you, just as I have had among the other Gentiles. MSG 14 Everyone I meet - it matters little whether they're mannered or rude, smart or simple - deepens my sense of interdependence and obligation. NIV 14 I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. MSG 15 And that's why I can't wait to get to you in Rome, preaching this wonderful good news of God. NIV 15 That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are at Rome.
