Romans 5:6-11

CSB 6 For while we were still helpless, at the appointed moment, Christ died for the ungodly. NIV 6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. CSB 7 For rarely will someone die for a just person-though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. NIV 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. CSB 8 But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us! NIV 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. CSB 9 Much more then, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from wrath. NIV 9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! CSB 10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, [then how] much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by His life! NIV 10 For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! CSB 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. NIV 11 Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
