Romans 7:19-21

NAS 19 For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. NIV 19 For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. NAS 20 But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me. NIV 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. NAS 21 I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good. NIV 21 So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.
