Romans 8:27-37

NAS 27 and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. NIV 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will. NAS 28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. NIV 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. NAS 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; NIV 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. NAS 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. NIV 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. NAS 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? NIV 31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? NAS 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? NIV 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? NAS 33 Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; NIV 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. NAS 34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. NIV 34 Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. NAS 35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? NIV 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? NAS 36 Just as it is written, "FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED." NIV 36 As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." NAS 37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. NIV 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
