1 Salmo 43<br />¡Declárame inocente, oh Dios!<br />Defiéndeme contra esta gente que vive sin ti;<br />rescátame de estos mentirosos injustos.

Vindicate me, my God, and plead my cause against an unfaithful nation. Rescue me from those who are deceitful and wicked.
2 Pues tú eres Dios, mi único refugio seguro.<br />¿Por qué me hiciste a un lado?<br />¿Por qué tengo que andar angustiado,<br />oprimido por mis enemigos?

You are God my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?
3 Envía tu luz y tu verdad,<br />que ellas me guíen.<br />Que me lleven a tu monte santo,<br />al lugar donde vives.

Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell.
4 Allí iré al altar de Dios,<br />a Dios mismo, la fuente de toda mi alegría.<br />Te alabaré con mi arpa,<br />¡oh Dios, mi Dios!

Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight. I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God.
5 ¿Por qué estoy desanimado?<br />¿Por qué está tan triste mi corazón?<br />¡Pondré mi esperanza en Dios!<br />Nuevamente lo alabaré,<br />¡mi Salvador y mi Dios!

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
