1 Oh Pastor de Israel, escucha; tú que pastoreas como a ovejas a José, que estás entre querubines, resplandece

1 Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock. You who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine forth

2 Despierta tu valentía delante de Efraín, y de Benjamín, y de Manasés, y ven a salvarnos

2 before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh. Awaken your might; come and save us.

3 Oh Dios, haznos tornar; y haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos

3 Restore us, O God; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.

4 SEÑOR, Dios de los ejércitos, ¿Hasta cuándo humearás tú contra la oración de tu pueblo

4 How long, LORD God Almighty, will your anger smolder against the prayers of your people?

5 Les diste a comer pan de lágrimas, y les diste a beber lágrimas con medida

5 You have fed them with the bread of tears; you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.

6 Nos pusiste por contienda a nuestros vecinos; y nuestros enemigos se burlan de nosotros entre sí

6 You have made us an object of derision to our neighbors, and our enemies mock us.

7 Oh Dios de los ejércitos, haznos tornar; y haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos

7 Restore us, God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.

8 Hiciste venir una vid desde Egipto; echaste los gentiles, y la plantaste

8 You transplanted a vine from Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it.

9 Limpiaste sitio delante de ella, e hiciste arraigar sus raíces, y llenó la tierra

9 You cleared the ground for it, and it took root and filled the land.

10 Los montes fueron cubiertos de su sombra; y sus ramas como cedros de Dios

10 The mountains were covered with its shade, the mighty cedars with its branches.

11 Envió sus ramas hasta el mar, y hasta el río sus renuevos

11 Its branches reached as far as the Sea,its shoots as far as the River.

12 ¿Por qué aportillaste sus vallados, y la vendimian todos los que pasan por el camino

12 Why have you broken down its walls so that all who pass by pick its grapes?

13 La estropeó el puerco montés, y la pació la bestia del campo

13 Boars from the forest ravage it, and insects from the fields feed on it.

14 Oh Dios de los ejércitos, vuelve ahora; mira desde el cielo, y ve, y visita esta vid

14 Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine,

15 y la viña que tu diestra plantó, y sobre el renuevo que corroboraste para ti

15 the root your right hand has planted, the son you have raised up for yourself.

16 Quemada a fuego está, y talada; perezcan por la reprensión de tu rostro

16 Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire; at your rebuke your people perish.

17 Sea tu mano sobre el varón de tu diestra, sobre el hijo del hombre que corroboraste para ti

17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself.

18 Así no nos volveremos de ti; nos darás vida, e invocaremos tu Nombre

18 Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.

19 Oh SEÑOR, Dios de los ejércitos, haznos tornar; haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos

19 Restore us, LORD God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
