1 Oración de David. Inclina, oh SEÑOR, tu oído, y óyeme; porque estoy pobre y menesteroso.

Hear me, LORD, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.
2 Guarda mi alma, porque soy misericordioso; salva tú, oh Dios mío, a tu siervo que en ti confía.

Guard my life, for I am faithful to you; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God;
3 Ten misericordia de mí, oh SEÑOR; porque a ti clamo cada día.

have mercy on me, Lord, for I call to you all day long.
4 Alegra el alma de tu siervo; porque a ti, oh Señor, levanto mi alma.

Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you.
5 Porque tú, Señor, <I>eres</I> bueno y perdonador, y grande en misericordia para con todos los que te invocan.

You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.
6 Escucha, oh SEÑOR, mi oración, y está atento a la voz de mis ruegos.

Hear my prayer, LORD; listen to my cry for mercy.
7 En el día de mi angustia te llamaré; porque <I>tú</I> me respondes.

When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.
8 Oh Señor, ninguno hay como tú entre los dioses, ni hay otro que haga tus obras.

Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.
9 Todos los gentiles que hiciste vendrán y se humillarán delante de ti, Señor; y glorificarán tu Nombre.

All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name.
10 Porque tú <I>eres</I> grande, y hacedor de maravillas; tú solo <I>eres</I> Dios.

For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.
11 Enséñame, oh SEÑOR, tu camino; caminaré <I>yo</I> en tu verdad; afirma mi corazón para que tema tu nombre.

Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
12 Te alabaré, oh SEÑOR Dios mío, con todo mi corazón; y glorificaré tu Nombre para siempre.

I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.
13 Porque tu misericordia <I>es</I> grande sobre mí; y has librado mi alma del hoyo profundo.

For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead.
14 Oh Dios, soberbios se levantaron contra mí, y conspiración de fuertes ha buscado mi alma, y no te pusieron delante de sí.

Arrogant foes are attacking me, O God; ruthless people are trying to kill me— they have no regard for you.
15 Mas tú, Señor, Dios misericordioso y clemente, lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia y verdad;

But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
16 mira en mi, y ten misericordia de mí; da fortaleza tuya a tu siervo, y guarda al hijo de tu sierva.

Turn to me and have mercy on me; show your strength in behalf of your servant; save me, because I serve you just as my mother did.
17 Haz conmigo señal para bien, y véanla los que me aborrecen, y sean avergonzados; porque tú, SEÑOR, me ayudaste, y me consolaste.

Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.
