1 Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Entra al Faraón, y dile: El SEÑOR ha dicho así: Deja ir a mi pueblo, para que me sirva

2 Y si no lo quisieres dejar ir, he aquí yo heriré con ranas todos tus términos

3 Y el río criará ranas, las cuales subirán, y entrarán en tu casa, y en la cámara de tu cama, y sobre tu cama, y en las casas de tus siervos, y en tu pueblo, y en tus hornos, y en tus artesas

4 y las ranas subirán sobre ti, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre todos tus siervos

5 Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Di a Aarón: Extiende tu mano con tu vara sobre los ríos, arroyos, y estanques, para que haga venir ranas sobre la tierra de Egipto

6 Entonces Aarón extendió su mano sobre las aguas de Egipto, y subieron ranas que cubrieron la tierra de Egipto

7 Y los encantadores hicieron lo mismo con sus encantamientos, e hicieron venir ranas sobre la tierra de Egipto

8 Entonces <em>el</em> Faraón llamó a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dijo: Orad al SEÑOR que quite las ranas de mí y de mi pueblo; y dejaré ir al pueblo, para que sacrifique al SEÑOR

9 Y dijo Moisés al Faraón: Señálame: ¿cuándo oraré por ti, y por tus siervos, y por tu pueblo, para que las ranas sean quitadas de ti, y de tus casas, <em>y que</em> solamente se queden en el río

10 Y él dijo: Mañana. Y <em>Moisés</em> respondió: <em>Se hará</em> conforme a tu palabra, para que conozcas que no <em>hay otro</em> como el SEÑOR nuestro Dios

11 y las ranas se irán de ti, y de tus casas, y de tus siervos, y de tu pueblo, <em>y</em> solamente se quedarán en el río

12 Entonces salieron Moisés y Aarón de la presencia del Faraón, y clamó Moisés al SEÑOR sobre el negocio de las ranas que había puesto al Faraón

13 E hizo el SEÑOR conforme a la palabra de Moisés, y murieron las ranas de las casas, de los cortijos, y de los campos

14 Y las juntaron en montones, y la tierra se corrompió

15 Y viendo Faraón que le habían dado alivio, agravó su corazón, y no los escuchó; como el SEÑOR lo había dicho

16 Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Di a Aarón: Extiende tu vara, y hiere el polvo de la tierra, para que se vuelva piojos por toda la tierra de Egipto

17 Y ellos lo hicieron así; y Aarón extendió su mano con su vara, e hirió el polvo de la tierra, el cual se volvió piojos, así en los hombres como en las bestias; todo el polvo de la tierra se volvió piojos en toda la tierra de Egipto

18 Y los encantadores hicieron así también, para sacar piojos con sus encantamientos; mas no pudieron. Y había piojos así en los hombres como en las bestias

19 Entonces los magos dijeron al Faraón: Dedo de Dios <em>es</em> éste. Mas el corazón del Faraón se endureció, y no los escuchó; como el SEÑOR lo había dicho

20 Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Levántate de mañana y ponte delante del Faraón, he aquí él sale a las aguas; y dile: El SEÑOR ha dicho así: Deja ir a mi pueblo, para que me sirva

21 Porque si no dejares ir a mi pueblo, he aquí yo enviaré sobre ti, y sobre tus siervos, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre tus casas toda suerte de moscas; y las casas de los egipcios se llenarán de toda suerte de moscas, y asimismo la tierra donde ellos estuvieren

22 Y aquel día <em>yo</em> apartaré la tierra de Gosén, en la cual mi pueblo habita, <em>para</em> que ninguna suerte de moscas haya en ella; a fin de que sepas que yo <em>soy</em> el SEÑOR en medio de la tierra

23 Y <em>yo</em> pondré redención entre mi pueblo y el tuyo. Mañana será esta señal

24 Y el SEÑOR lo hizo así: que vino toda suerte de moscas molestísimas sobre la casa del Faraón, y sobre las casas de sus siervos, y sobre toda la tierra de Egipto; y la tierra fue corrompida a causa de ellas

25 Entonces <em>el</em> Faraón llamó a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dijo: Andad, sacrificad a vuestro Dios en la tierra <em>de Egipto</em>

26 Y Moisés respondió: No conviene que hagamos así, porque sacrificaríamos al SEÑOR nuestro Dios la abominación de los egipcios. He aquí, si sacrificáramos la abominación de los egipcios delante de ellos, ¿no nos apedrearían

27 Camino de tres días iremos por el desierto, y sacrificaremos al SEÑOR nuestro Dios, como él nos lo ha dicho

28 Y dijo <em>el</em> Faraón: Yo os dejaré ir para que sacrifiquéis al SEÑOR vuestro Dios en el desierto, con tal que no vayáis más lejos; orad por mí

29 Y respondió Moisés: He aquí, saliendo yo de tu presencia, rogaré al SEÑOR que las diversas suertes de moscas se vayan del Faraón, y de sus siervos, y de su pueblo mañana; con tal que <em>el</em> Faraón no falte más, no dejando ir al pueblo a sacrificar al SEÑOR

30 Entonces Moisés salió de la presencia del Faraón, y oró al SEÑOR

31 Y el SEÑOR hizo conforme a la palabra de Moisés; y quitó todas aquellas moscas del Faraón, y de sus siervos, y de su pueblo, sin que quedara una

32 Mas <em>el</em> Faraón agravó aun esta vez su corazón, y no dejó ir al pueblo

1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me.

2 If you refuse to let them go, I will send a plague of frogs on your whole country.

3 The Nile will teem with frogs. They will come up into your palace and your bedroom and onto your bed, into the houses of your officials and on your people, and into your ovens and kneading troughs.

4 The frogs will come up on you and your people and all your officials.’ ”

5 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your staff over the streams and canals and ponds, and make frogs come up on the land of Egypt.’ ”

6 So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land.

7 But the magicians did the same things by their secret arts; they also made frogs come up on the land of Egypt.

8 Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “Pray to the LORD to take the frogs away from me and my people, and I will let your people go to offer sacrifices to the LORD.”

9 Moses said to Pharaoh, “I leave to you the honor of setting the time for me to pray for you and your officials and your people that you and your houses may be rid of the frogs, except for those that remain in the Nile.”

10 “Tomorrow,” Pharaoh said. Moses replied, “It will be as you say, so that you may know there is no one like the LORD our God.

11 The frogs will leave you and your houses, your officials and your people; they will remain only in the Nile.”

12 After Moses and Aaron left Pharaoh, Moses cried out to the LORD about the frogs he had brought on Pharaoh.

13 And the LORD did what Moses asked. The frogs died in the houses, in the courtyards and in the fields.

14 They were piled into heaps, and the land reeked of them.

15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said.

16 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the ground,’ and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats.”

17 They did this, and when Aaron stretched out his hand with the staff and struck the dust of the ground, gnats came on people and animals. All the dust throughout the land of Egypt became gnats.

18 But when the magicians tried to produce gnats by their secret arts, they could not. Since the gnats were on people and animals everywhere,

19 the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart was hard and he would not listen, just as the LORD had said.

20 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning and confront Pharaoh as he goes to the river and say to him, ‘This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me.

21 If you do not let my people go, I will send swarms of flies on you and your officials, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies; even the ground will be covered with them.

22 “ ‘But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the LORD, am in this land.

23 I will make a distinction between my people and your people. This sign will occur tomorrow.’ ”

24 And the LORD did this. Dense swarms of flies poured into Pharaoh’s palace and into the houses of his officials; throughout Egypt the land was ruined by the flies.

25 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “Go, sacrifice to your God here in the land.”

26 But Moses said, “That would not be right. The sacrifices we offer the LORD our God would be detestable to the Egyptians. And if we offer sacrifices that are detestable in their eyes, will they not stone us?

27 We must take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God, as he commands us.”

28 Pharaoh said, “I will let you go to offer sacrifices to the LORD your God in the wilderness, but you must not go very far. Now pray for me.”

29 Moses answered, “As soon as I leave you, I will pray to the LORD, and tomorrow the flies will leave Pharaoh and his officials and his people. Only let Pharaoh be sure that he does not act deceitfully again by not letting the people go to offer sacrifices to the LORD.”

30 Then Moses left Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD,

31 and the LORD did what Moses asked. The flies left Pharaoh and his officials and his people; not a fly remained.

32 But this time also Pharaoh hardened his heart and would not let the people go.
