26 Y Samserai, Seharías, Atalías,

27 Jaresías, Elías y Zicri fueron los hijos de Jeroham.

28 Estos fueron jefes de las casas paternas conforme a sus generaciones, hombres principales que vivieron en Jerusalén.

29 Y en Gabaón habitaba Jehiel, padre de Gabaón, y el nombre de su mujer era Maaca;

30 y su primogénito fue Abdón; después Zur, Cis, Baal, Nadab,

31 Gedor, Ahío y Zequer.

32 Y Miclot engendró a Simea. Y habitaban también con sus parientes en Jerusalén enfrente de sus otros parientes.

33 Ner engendró a Cis, Cis engendró a Saúl y Saúl engendró a Jonatán, Malquisúa, Abinadab y Es-baal.

34 El hijo de Jonatán fue Merib-baal, y Merib-baal engendró a Micaía.

35 Los hijos de Micaía fueron Pitón, Melec, Tarea y Acaz.

36 Acaz engendró a Joada, Joada engendró a Alemet, Azmavet y Zimri, y Zimri engendró a Mosa;

In this chapter the genealogy of the tribe of Benjamin is reconsidered, and several of the principal men and families in it are taken notice of, which were not before; or a further account is given of them, as of the sons and grandsons of Benjamin, 1Ch 8:1-5, of Ehud, 1Ch 8:5-7, of Shaharaim, 1Ch 8:8-11, of Elpaal and Beriah, 1Ch 8:12-18 of Shimhi, 1Ch 8:19-21, of Shashak, 1Ch 8:22-25, of Jeroham, 1Ch 8:26,27, of Jehiel the father of Gibeon, 1Ch 8:28-32, of Ner, and particularly Saul, 1Ch 8:33 and of Jonathan, and his posterity, 1Ch 8:34-40.
