1from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them.

Therefore
2be alert, remembering that
3for three years I did not cease night or day
4to admonish everyone
5with tears.

And now
6I commend you to God and to
7the word of his grace, which is able to
8build you up and to give you
9the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
33
10I coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel.
34
11You yourselves know that
12these hands ministered to my necessities and
13to those who were with me.

In all things
14I have shown you that
15by working hard in this way we must
16help the weak and
17remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said,
'It is more blessed 18to give than to receive.'"

And when he had said these things,
19he knelt down and prayed with them all.

And
20there was much weeping on the part of all;
21they embraced Paul and
22kissed him,

being sorrowful most of all because of
23the word he had spoken, that they would not see his face again. And
24they accompanied him to the ship.
