Ezekiel 42:15-20

15 Now when he had finished measuring the interior of the temple area, he led me out by 1the gate that faced east, and measured the temple area all around.
16 He measured the east side with 2the measuring reed, 500 cubits by the measuring reed all around.
17 He measured the north side, 500 cubits by the measuring reed all around.
18 He measured the south side, 500 cubits by the measuring reed.
19 Then he turned to the west side and measured, 500 cubits by the measuring reed.
20 He measured it on the four sides. It had 3a wall around it, cubits long and cubits broad, 4to make a separation between the holy and the common.

INTRODUCTION TO EZEKIEL 42

In this chapter are a description of some chambers in the northern part of the outward court, Eze 42:1-12, an account of the use made of them by the priests, Eze 42:13,14, the measuring of the area, or whole compass of ground, on which the whole building before measured stood, with the wall that surrounded it, Eze 41:15-20.
