24"1A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slaveabove his master.

"Do not fearthose who kill the body but are unable* to kill the soul; but rather8fear Him who is able to destroybothsoul and body in 9hell.

"10Are not twosparrowssold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the groundapart from your Father.

"But 11the veryhairs of your head are allnumbered.

"So do not fear; 12you are morevaluable than manysparrows.

"Therefore13everyonewhoconfesses Me beforemen, I will alsoconfess him before My Father who is in heaven.

"But 14whoever*denies Me beforemen, I will alsodeny him before My Father who is in heaven.

"15Do not think that I came to bringpeace on the earth; I did not come to bringpeace, but a sword.

"For I came to 16SET A MANAGAINST HIS FATHER, AND A DAUGHTERAGAINST HER MOTHER, AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAWAGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW;

and 17A MAN'SENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS HOUSEHOLD.
