but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman7with lust for her has alreadycommittedadultery with her in his heart.

"8If your righteyemakes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to loseone of the parts of your body, than* for your wholebody to be thrown into 9hell.

"10If your righthandmakes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than* for your wholebody to go into 11hell.

"It was said, '12WHOEVER*SENDS HIS WIFEAWAY, LET HIM GIVE HER A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE ';

13but I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the reason of unchastity, makes her commitadultery; and whoever*marries a divorcedwomancommitsadultery.

"Again, 14you have heard that the ancients were told, '15YOU SHALL NOT MAKEFALSEVOWS, BUT SHALL FULFILL YOUR VOWS TO THE LORD.'
