Deuteronômio 21:18-23

18 Se alguém tiver um filho contumaz e rebelde, que não obedeça � voz de seu pai e � voz de sua mãe, e que, embora o castiguem, não lhes dê ouvidos,

19 seu pai e sua mãe, pegando nele, o levarão aos anciãos da sua cidade, e � porta do seu lugar;

20 e dirão aos anciãos da cidade: Este nosso filho é contumaz e rebelde; não dá ouvidos � nossa voz; é comilão e beberrão.

21 Então todos os homens da sua cidade o apedrejarão, até que morra; assim exterminarás o mal do meio de ti; e todo o Israel, ouvindo isso, temerá.

22 Se um homem tiver cometido um pecado digno de morte, e for morto, e o tiveres pendurado num madeiro,

23 o seu cadáver não permanecerá toda a noite no madeiro, mas certamente o enterrarás no mesmo dia; porquanto aquele que é pendurado é maldito de Deus. Assim não contaminarás a tua terra, que o Senhor teu Deus te dá em herança.

INTRODUCTION TO DEUTERONOMY 21

This chapter treats of the beheading of the heifer, for the expiation of unknown murder, and the rules to be observed in it, De 21:1-9 of a beautiful captive woman an Israelite is desirous of having for his wife, and what methods he must take to accomplish it, De 21:10-14, of giving the double portion to the firstborn, which he must not be deprived of in favour of the son of a beloved wife, De 21:15-17 and of the stubborn and rebellious son, who remaining so must be put to death, De 21:18-21 and of burying a person hanged on a tree the same day he is executed, De 21:22,23.
