And he beheldthem, and said , Whatisthisthen that is written , The stonewhich the buildersrejected , the same is become the headof the corner?

Whosoever shall falluponthatstone shall be broken ; butonwhomsoeverit shall fall , it will grindhim to powder .

And the chief priestsand the scribes the same*hoursought to layhandsonhim;and they feared the people:for they perceivedthat he had spokenthisparableagainstthem.

And they watched him, and sent forthspies, which should feign*themselves just men,that they might take hold of hiswords, that so they might deliverhim unto the powerandauthority of the governor.

And they askedhim,saying , Master, we knowthat thou sayestandteachestrightly*, neither acceptest thou the person of any, butteachest the way of Godtruly* :

Is it lawful for us to givetribute unto Caesar,orno?

Shewme a penny.Whoseimageandsuperscription hath it ? They answeredandsaid , Caesar's.
