Andagain he enteredintoCapernaumafter some days;and it was noisedthat he wasin the house.

Andstraightwaymany were gathered together , insomuch that there wasno room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door:and he preached the word unto them.

And they comeuntohim,bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borneoffour.

And when they couldnot come nigh unto himfor the press, they uncovered the roofwhere he was : and when they had broken it up , they let down the bedwhereinthe sick of the palsylay .

WhenJesussawtheirfaith, he said unto the sick of the palsy,Son,thysins be forgiventhee.

But there werecertain of the scribessittingthere,andreasoningintheirhearts,

Whydoththis man thusspeakblasphemies?whocanforgivesinsbutGodonly?

Andimmediately when Jesusperceived in hisspiritthat they soreasonedwithinthemselves, he said unto them,Why reason ye these thingsinyourhearts?

Whether is iteasier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiventhee;or to say , Arise , and take upthybed,andwalk ?

Butthat ye may knowthat the Son of manhathpoweronearth to forgivesins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
