1 When Jesus camedown from the mountain, largecrowdsfollowed Him.
2
And 1a lepercame to Him and 2boweddown before Him, and said, "Lord, if You are willing, You canmake me clean."
3
Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I amwilling; be cleansed." And immediately his 3leprosy was cleansed.
4
And Jesussaid to him, "4See that you tellnoone; but 5go, 6showyourself to the priest and present the offering that Mosescommanded, as a testimony to them."
5
And 7when Jesus enteredCapernaum, a centurioncame to Him, imploring Him,
6
and saying, "Lord, my servant is lying8paralyzed at home, fearfullytormented."
8
But the centurionsaid, "Lord, I am not worthy for You to comeunder my roof, but justsay the word, and my servant will be healed.
9
"For I alsoam a manunder9authority, with soldiersunder me; and I say to thisone, 'Go!' and he goes, and to another, 'Come!' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Dothis!' and he does it."
10
Now when Jesusheard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, "Truly I say to you, I have not foundsuchgreatfaith with anyone in Israel.
11
"I say to you that many10will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven;
12
but 11the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into 12the outerdarkness; in that place13there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
13
And Jesussaid to the centurion, "Go; it shall be done for you 14as you have believed." And the servant was healed that very moment.
