Equal With God

In the early 1970's Gough Whitland was the prime minister of Australia. He did not believe in God. He said, "If there is a God and if I ever meet him you can be assured of one thing. I will treat him as an equal."

There is a God. Whitland will meet Him. You can be certain he will not treat Him as an equal. God is wiser than we are. He is stronger than we are. He is holier than we are. Only one Person is equal with God, and that Person is the Lord Jesus Christ. All the rest of us must stand in awe and reverence in His presence, and one day all will bow before Him.
