Great is the LORD1 and most worthy of praise;2 his greatness no one can fathom.3

One generation4 will commend your works to another; they will tell5 of your mighty acts.6

They will speak of the glorious splendor7 of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works.a8

They will tell9 of the power of your awesome works,10 and I will proclaim11 your great deeds.12

They will celebrate your abundant goodness13 and joyfully sing14 of your righteousness.15
