He shot his arrows1 and scattered [the enemies], great bolts of lightning2 and routed them.3
15
The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations4 of the earth laid bare at your rebuke,5 O LORD, at the blast of breath from your nostrils.6
16
He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.7
17
He rescued me from my powerful enemy,8 from my foes, who were too strong for me.9
18
They confronted me in the day of my disaster,10 but the LORD was my support.11
19
He brought me out into a spacious place;12 he rescued me because he delighted in me.13
20
The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness;14 according to the cleanness of my hands15 he has rewarded me.16
21
For I have kept the ways of the LORD;17 I have not done evil by turning18 from my God.
22
All his laws are before me;19 I have not turned away from his decrees.
23
I have been blameless20 before him and have kept myself from sin.
24
The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness,21 according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.
