Psalm 22:18-28 (New International Version)

18 They divide my garments among them and cast lots1 for my clothing.2 19 But you, O LORD, be not far off;3 O my Strength,4 come quickly5 to help me.6 20 Deliver my life from the sword,7 my precious life8 from the power of the dogs.9 21 Rescue me from the mouth of the lions;10 savea me from the horns of the wild oxen.11 22 I will declare your name to my brothers; in the congregation12 I will praise you.13 23 You who fear the LORD, praise him!14 All you descendants of Jacob, honor him!15 Revere him,16 all you descendants of Israel! 24 For he has not despised17 or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one;18 he has not hidden his face19 from him but has listened to his cry for help.20 25 From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly;21 before those who fear youb will I fulfill my vows.22 26 The poor will eat23 and be satisfied; they who seek the LORD will praise him--24 may your hearts live forever! 27 All the ends of the earth25 will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him,26 28 for dominion belongs to the LORD 27 and he rules over the nations.
