Let your face shine1 on your servant; save me in your unfailing love.217
Let me not be put to shame,3 O LORD, for I have cried out to you; but let the wicked be put to shame and lie silent4 in the grave.a18
Let their lying lips5 be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly6 against the righteous.
How great is your goodness,7 which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men8 on those who take refuge9 in you.
In the shelter10 of your presence you hide11 them from the intrigues of men;12 in your dwelling you keep them safe from accusing tongues.
Praise be to the LORD,13 for he showed his wonderful love14 to me when I was in a besieged city.1522
In my alarm16 I said, "I am cut off17 from your sight!" Yet you heard my cry18 for mercy when I called to you for help.
Love the LORD, all his saints!19 The LORD preserves the faithful,20 but the proud he pays back21 in full.
Be strong and take heart,22 all you who hope in the LORD.
