He rules forever1 by his power, his eyes watch2 the nations-- let not the rebellious3 rise up against him. "Selah"
Praise4 our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard;
he has preserved our lives5 and kept our feet from slipping.610
For you, O God, tested7 us; you refined us like silver.811
You brought us into prison9 and laid burdens10 on our backs.
You let men ride over our heads;11 we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.1213
I will come to your temple with burnt offerings13 and fulfill my vows14 to you--
vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble.
I will sacrifice fat animals to you and an offering of rams; I will offer bulls and goats.15 "Selah"
Come and listen,16 all you who fear God; let me tell17 you what he has done for me.
I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.
