As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs;1 the autumn2 rains also cover it with pools.a

They go from strength to strength,3 till each appears4 before God in Zion.5

Hear my prayer,6 O LORD God Almighty; listen to me, O God of Jacob. "Selah"

Look upon our shield,b7 O God; look with favor on your anointed one.8
10
Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper9 in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11
For the LORD God is a sun10 and shield;11 the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold12 from those whose walk is blameless.

O LORD Almighty, blessed13 is the man who trusts in you.
