Luke 21:12-19

But before all this 1they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to 2the synagogues and 3prisons, and you 4will be brought before 5kings and 6governors for my name's sake.
7This will be your opportunity to bear witness.
Settle it therefore in your minds 8not to meditate beforehand how to answer,
for 9I will give you a mouth and 10wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or 11contradict.
You will be delivered up 12even by parents and brothers[a] and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death.
13You will be hated by all for my name's sake.
But 14not a hair of your head will perish.
By your 15endurance you will gain your lives.
