141When they came to the crowd, a mancame up to Jesus, falling on his kneesbefore Him and saying,

"Lord, havemercy on my son, for he is a 2lunatic and is veryill*; for he oftenfalls into the fire and often into the water.

"I brought him to Your disciples, and they could not cure him."
17
And Jesusanswered and said, "You unbelieving and pervertedgeneration, howlong* shall I be with you? Howlong* shall I put up with you? Bring him here to Me."
18
And Jesusrebuked him, and the demoncame out of him, and the boy was cured at once*.
