1As they were comingdown from the mountain, Jesuscommanded them, saying, "2Tell the vision to nooneuntil3the Son of Man has 4risen from the dead."

And His disciplesasked Him, "Whythen do the scribessay that 5Elijahmustcomefirst?"

And He answered and said, "Elijah is coming and will restoreallthings;

but I say to you that Elijahalreadycame, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wished. Soalso6the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands."

Then the disciplesunderstood that He had spoken to them aboutJohn the Baptist.
