Psalms 115

1 (113-9) Not to us, O Lord, not to us; but to thy name give glory.
2 (113-10) For thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake: lest the Gentiles should say: Where is their God?
3 (113-11) But our God is in heaven: he hath done all things whatsoever he would.
4 (113-12) The idols of the Gentiles are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men.
5 (113-13) They have mouths and speak not: they have eyes and see not.
6 (113-14) They have ears and hear not: they have noses and smell not.
7 (113-15) They have hands and feel not: they have feet and walk not: neither shall they cry out through their throat.
8 (113-16) Let them that make them become like unto them: and all such as trust in them.
9 (113-17) The house of Israel hath hoped in the Lord: he is their helper and their protector.
10 (113-18) The house of Aaron hath hoped in the Lord: he is their helper and their protector.
11 (113-19) They that fear the Lord have hoped in the Lord: he is their helper and their protector.
12 (113-20) The Lord hath been mindful of us, and hath blessed us. He hath blessed the house of Israel: he hath blessed the house of Aaron.
13 (113-21) He hath blessed all that fear the Lord, both little and great.
14 (113-22) May the Lord add blessings upon you: upon you, and upon your children.
15 (113-23) Blessed be you of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
16 (113-24) The heaven of heaven is the Lord’s: but the earth he has given to the children of men.
17 (113-25) The dead shall not praise thee, O Lord: nor any of them that go down to hell.
18 (113-26) But we that live bless the Lord: from this time now and for ever.

Psalms 116

1 (114-1) I have loved, because the Lord will hear the voice of my prayer.
2 (114-2) Because he hath inclined his ear unto me: and in my days I will call upon him.
3 (114-3) The sorrows of death have compassed me: and the perils of hell have found me. I met with trouble and sorrow:
4 (114-4) And I called upon the name of the Lord. O Lord, deliver my soul.
5 (114-5) The Lord is merciful and just, and our God sheweth mercy.
6 (114-6) The Lord is the keeper of little ones: I was humbled, and he delivered me.
7 (114-7) Turn, O my soul, into thy rest: for the Lord hath been bountiful to thee.
8 (114-8) For he hath delivered my soul from death: my eyes from tears, my feet from falling.
9 (114-9) I will please the Lord in the land of the living.
10 (115-1) I have believed, therefore have I spoken; but I have been humbled exceedingly.
11 (115-2) I said in my excess: Every man is a liar.
12 (115-3) What shall I render to the Lord, for all the things that he hath rendered to me?
13 (115-4) I will take the chalice of salvation; and I will call upon the name of the Lord.
14 (115-5) I will pay my vows to the Lord before all his people:
15 (115-6) Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
16 (115-7) O Lord, for I am thy servant: I am thy servant, and the son of thy handmaid. Thou hast broken my bonds:
17 (115-8) I will sacrifice to thee the sacrifice of praise, and I will call upon the name of the Lord.
18 (115-9) I will pay my vows to the Lord in the sight of all his people:
19 (115-10) In the courts of the house of the Lord, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem.

1 (116-1) O Praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
2 (116-2) For his mercy is confirmed upon us: and the truth of the Lord remaineth for ever.

Psalms 118

1 (117-1) Give praise to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 (117-2) Let Israel now say, that he is good: that his mercy endureth for ever.
3 (117-3) Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
4 (117-4) Let them that fear the Lord now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
5 (117-5) In my trouble I called upon the Lord: and the Lord heard me, and enlarged me.
6 (117-6) The Lord is my helper: I will not fear what man can do unto me.
7 (117-7) The Lord is my helper: and I will look over my enemies.
8 (117-8) It is good to confide in the Lord, rather than to have confidence in man.
9 (117-9) It is good to trust in the Lord, rather than to trust in princes.
10 (117-10) All nations compassed me about; and, in the name of the Lord I have been revenged on them.
11 (117-11) Surrounding me they compassed me about: and in the name of the Lord I have been revenged on them.
12 (117-12) They surrounded me like bees, and they burned like fire among thorns: and in the name of the Lord I was revenged on them.
13 (117-13) Being pushed I was overturned that I might fall: but the Lord supported me.
14 (117-14) The Lord is my strength and my praise: and he is become my salvation.
15 (117-15) The voice of rejoicing and of salvation is in the tabernacles of the just.
16 (117-16) The right hand of the Lord hath wrought strength: the right hand of the Lord hath exalted me: the right hand of the Lord hath wrought strength.
17 (117-17) I shall not die, but live: and shall declare the works of the Lord.
18 (117-18) The Lord chastising hath chastised me: but he hath not delivered me over to death.
19 (117-19) Open ye to me the gates of justice: I will go in to them, and give praise to the Lord.
20 (117-20) This is the gate of the Lord, the just shall enter into it.
21 (117-21) I will give glory to thee because thou hast heard me: and art become my salvation.
22 (117-22) The stone which the builders rejected; the same is become the head of the corner.
23 (117-23) This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful in our eyes.
24 (117-24) This is the day which the Lord hath made: let us be glad and rejoice therein.
25 (117-25) O Lord, save me: O Lord, give good success.
26 (117-26) Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord. We have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
27 (117-27) The Lord is God, and he hath shone upon us. Appoint a solemn day, with shady boughs, even to the horn of the altar.
28 (117-28) Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, and I will exalt thee. I will praise thee, because thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
29 (117-29) O praise ye the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
