16 Del oro, de la plata, del bronce, y del hierro, no hay número. Levántate pues , y a la obra; que el SEÑOR será contigo.

1 Chronicles 22:16

Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron
That is, the cunning artificers were skilful to work in each of these, some in gold and silver, others in brass and iron:

there is no number;
either of the workmen, or of these materials; which yet must be restrained to the brass and iron, for the gold and silver are numbered, but not the brass and iron, ( 1 Chronicles 22:14 ) ,

arise therefore, and be doing:
not that he should set about and begin the building the temple directly; but as soon as he could after he came to the throne, and not neglect and delay it:

and the Lord be with thee;
as in ( 1 Chronicles 22:11 ) and here, as there, the Targum is,

``may the Word of the Lord be thy help.''

14 He aquí, yo en mi estrechez he prevenido para la Casa del SEÑOR cien mil talentos de oro, y un millar de millares de talentos de plata; no tiene peso el bronce ni el hierro, porque es mucho. Asimismo he preparado madera y piedra, a lo cual tú añadirás.

15 Tú tienes contigo muchos oficiales, canteros, albañiles, y carpinteros, y todo hombre experto en toda obra.

17 Asimismo mandó David a todos los principales de Israel que diesen ayuda a Salomón su hijo, diciendo :

18 ¿No es con vosotros el SEÑOR vuestro Dios, el cual os ha dado quietud de todas partes? Porque él ha entregado en mi mano los moradores de la tierra, y la tierra ha sido sujetada delante del SEÑOR, y delante de su pueblo.
