26 Te ruego que vayas ahora corriendo a recibirla, y dile: ¿Tienes paz? ¿Y tu marido, y tu hijo? Y ella dijo: Paz.

2 Kings 4:26

Run now, I pray thee, to meet her
In respect to her, and to know the occasion of her coming; something is the cause of it:

and say unto her, is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is
it well with the child?
has any disaster befallen thee, thy husband, or the child? are all in good health? or does any disorder attend any of them?

and she answered, it is well;
as in general they were, the greatest part, she and her husband; and though the child was dead, yet, if gone to heaven, as she might hope, it was well too; and it is right to judge and say, that all that the Lord does is well: she gives a short answer to the servant, not being willing to be detained, and being desirous of telling her case to the prophet himself.

24 Después hizo enalbardar una asna, y dijo al criado: Guía y anda; y no me hagas detener para que suba, sino cuando yo te lo dijere.

25 Partió, pues , y vino al varón de Dios al monte del Carmelo. Y cuando el varón de Dios la vio de lejos, dijo a su criado Giezi: He aquí la sunamita.

26 Te ruego que vayas ahora corriendo a recibirla, y dile: ¿Tienes paz? ¿Y tu marido, y tu hijo? Y ella dijo: Paz.

27 Y luego que llegó al varón de Dios en el monte, se asió de sus pies. Y se acercó Giezi para quitarla; mas el varón de Dios le dijo: Déjala, porque su alma está en amargura, y el SEÑOR me ha encubierto el motivo , y no me lo ha revelado.

28 Y ella dijo: ¿Pedí yo hijo a mi señor? ¿No dije yo, que no me burlases?
