Nehemiah 7:62 In-Context

all Nethinims, and the sons of the servants of Solomon, were three hundred and two and twenty/were three hundred and two and seventy. (all the Temple workers, and the sons of Solomon's servants, were three hundred and ninety-two.)
And these that follow be they that went up of the country of Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer; which might not show the house of their fathers, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel; (And these who follow be they who returned from the towns of Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer; but they could not prove their father's house, or family, or whether they were descendants of Israelites;)
the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda, six hundred and two and forty;
and of the priests; the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, the sons of Barzillai, that took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai of Gilead, and was called by the name of them; (and of the priests; the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, and the sons of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called by their name;)
these sought the scripture of their genealogy, and they found it not, and they were therefore cast out of (the) priesthood. (these men searched for their genealogy in the list, but they could not find it, and so they were thrown out of the priesthood.)
