Lièwángjìshang 16:23-28

23 Yóudà wáng Yàsā sān shí yī nián , àn lì dēng jī zuò Yǐsèliè wáng gòng shí èr nián . zaì dé sǎ zuò wáng liù nián .
24 Àn lìyòng èr tā lián dé yínzi xiàng sǎ mǎ mǎi le sǎ Mǎlìyà shān , zaì shān shàng zào chéng , jiù àn zhe shān de yuán zhǔ sǎ mǎ de míng , gĕi suǒ zào de chéng qǐmíng jiào sǎ Mǎlìyà .
25 Àn lì xíng Yēhéhuá yǎn zhōng kàn wéi è de shì , bǐ tā yǐqián de liè wáng zuò è gèng shén .
26 Yīn tā xíng le ní bā de érzi Yéluóbōān suǒ xíng de , fàn tā shǐ Yǐsèliè rén xiàn zaì zuì lǐ de nà zuì , yǐ xū wú de shén rĕ Yēhéhuá Yǐsèliè shén de nùqì .
27 Àn lì qíyú de shì hé tā suǒ xiǎn chū de yǒng lì dōu xiĕ zaì Yǐsèliè zhū wáng jì shàng .
28 Àn lì yǔ tā lièzǔ tóng shuì , zàng zaì sǎ Mǎlìyà . tā érzi yà hā jiēxù tā zuò wáng .

Lièwángjìshang 16:23-28 Meaning and Commentary

INTRODUCTION TO 1 KINGS 16

This chapter contains a prophecy of the ruin of the family of Baasha, and an account of his death, 1Ki 16:1-7, and of his son's reigning in his stead two years, who was slain by Zimri one of his captains, 1Ki 16:8-14, and who reigned but seven days, 1Ki 16:15-20, and the people being divided between Tibni and Omri, the party for the latter prevailed, and he was made king, and reigned twelve years, 1Ki 16:21-28, and was succeeded by his son Ahab, a very wicked prince, 1Ki 16:29-33, and the chapter is concluded with the rebuilding of Jericho, 1Ki 16:34.
