1 John 4:10-12

10 In this is love, ¹not that we loved God, but that ²He loved us and sent His Son to be ³the propitiation for our sins.

11 ⁴Beloved, if God so loved us, ⁵we also ought to love one another.

12 ⁶No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His ⁷love is perfected in us.
