The youngmansaid to Him, "Allthesethings I have kept; whatam I stilllacking?"

Jesussaid to him, "If you wish to be complete, go and 3sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have4treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

But when the youngmanheardthisstatement, he wentawaygrieving; for he was one who ownedmuchproperty.

And Jesussaid to His disciples, "Truly I say to you, 5it is hard for a richman to enter the kingdom of heaven.

"Again I say to you, 6it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a richman to enter the kingdom of God."

When the disciplesheard this, they were veryastonished and said, "Thenwhocan be saved?"

And looking at them Jesussaid to them, "7With peoplethis is impossible, but with Godallthings are possible."
The Disciples' Reward
27ThenPetersaid to Him, "Behold, we have lefteverything and followed You; whatthen will there be for us?"

And Jesussaid to them, "Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regenerationwhen8the Son of Man will sit on His gloriousthrone, 9you also shall sit upon twelvethrones, judging the twelvetribes of Israel.

"And 10everyonewho has lefthousesorbrothersorsistersorfatherormotherorchildrenorfarms for My name'ssake, will receivemanytimes as much, and will inheriteternallife.
