1 Samuel 2:30

30 "Therefore the LORD God of Israel declares, 'I did indeed say that your house and the house of your father should walk before Me forever '; but now the LORD declares, 'Far be it from Me-for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me will be lightly esteemed.

1 Samuel 12:23

23 "Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you; but I will instruct you in the good and right way.

1 Samuel 14:45

45 But the people said to Saul, "Must Jonathan die, who has brought about this great deliverance in Israel? Far from it! As the LORD lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he has worked with God this day." So the people rescued Jonathan and he did not die.
